State Committee of Tourism reported about 6.7 million tourists
State Committee Of Tourism Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan has reported 6 748 500 tourists were in Uzbekistan in the entire 2019
The majority of tourists came from Central Asia - 5 764 500 people. 495 600 tourists came from CIS countries. 488 400 people came from far abroad. Due to the increase of tourists flow in 2019 and as per expected forecast in 2020 goverment calls to starting building more hotels.
Earlier the Prime Minister Mr. Aziz Abdukhakimov reported that total hotel rooms needs to be increased up to 44.000 among the whole Republic in order to ensure comfortable accommodation of tourists in our country.
